A stylish studio pottery stoneware vase with a textured and banded pattern by renowned pottery Waistel Cooper (British, 1921-2003). The vase stands raised on a shallow narrow rounded foot with a wide squat rounded body and a large trumpet shaped top. The body of the vase has a dry textured surface with a stone colored finish with four broad carved bands around the body set between contrasting brown colored bands. With running speckled brown and honey colored glazes applied to the inner vase. The vase has a painted signature mark to the base.
