A very impressive and large Danish Art Deco L Hjorth (Bornholm) art pottery elephant decorated in white glazes by Gertrud Kudielka (1896-1984) and dating from around 1930. This large stoneware elephant is naturalistically modelled in a standing pose with large tusks and holding its trunk in.
