Stylish studio pottery vase decorated in volcanic mustard and green streaked glazes signed JL to the base and dated 1979. The vase made in red terracotta clay is of squat rounded shape with vertical and horizontal ribbed patterning and with a small narrow and short raised rounded opening. The vase is decorated in volcanic mustard colored glazes with green and brown drips glazes run over the patterned areas. The vase has an unglazed foot with a relief molded large floral like design with incised JL and impressed tadpole style mark and is dated 1979.
