A very fine Arts & Crafts English pewter mustard pot with original glass liner made for Liberty & Co by Tudric and dating from the early 20th century. The mustard pot stands raised on a wide skirted foot and has a round gourd shaped body with flat top strap handle applied to the side with hinged cover with a raised finial and cut out mustard spoon section. The cover opens to reveal an original removable Bristol blue glass liner. The mustard pot has a hand planished finish and is impressed TUDRIC PEWTER to the base and is numbered 01381.
Provenance: Acquired in the British Art Market.
A fine example in good original condition with light wear from age and use.
