A very stylish Arts & Crafts Hukin & Heath twin silver plated sugar bowl and matching ladles designed by Christopher Dresser and dating from around 1890. The two bowls are of round shape supported on flared bases and joined with a flat edge mounted with the customary and iconic raised wood handle. The sugar bowls have molded fluting around the lower bodies and have H & H makers marks to the base and are numbered 2597. The sugar bowl comes complete with two ladle shaped spoons, one with a pierced sifter bowl and both also bear H & H marks. A very stylish collectors piece!

Provenance: acquired in the British art market.

In good condition with some wear in places to the plated finish.
