A truly stunning and exceptional Japanese Showa period cloisonné enamel vase signed Tamura and dating from circa 1930. This tall elegant vase is decorated with two stylized stems of flowering hawthorn, one decorated with scarlet blossoms and the other in white with silver foil gin-bari centres and fine silver inlaid wirework. With a silver rim and foot the vase has a silver foil mark reading Tamura to the base. This stunning vase comes complete with a wooden stand and is offered in excellent condition.
