A very stylish Chinese Qing bronze twin handled bowl applied with gilded dragons chasing the flaming pearl and dating from the 19th Century. The bowl stands on a narrow flat round base and is of round bulbous shape with grotesque Foo dog head handles supporting free hanging loops. The body of the bowl is molded in relief with two scrolling five claw dragons chasing a flaming pearl, the raised design gilded and repeated to both sides. The scenes are set above stylized waves and against a backdrop of stylized clouds. The bowl has a four character mark to the base. A wonderful display piece to enhance any interior.

In fine condition with light wear associated with age and use.
