A fine pair vintage Chinese porcelain blanc de chine figures of Guanyin dating from the early to mid 20th century. The hollow formed figures portray Guanyin standing on a circular pedestal base adorned with trailing lotus flowers on leafy stems and with a large open lotus flower forming the platform on which the figures stand. The figures are dressed in flowing robes and wearing bead necklaces and each holds a solitary lotus flower opening bud with a large leaf. The figures are well detailed and both are finished in natural white glazes. Both have printed red marks to the bases.
Provenance: Acquired from the UK Art market.
In good original condition with light wear associated with age and use.
