A delightful pair mid-century German novelty pottery cat musician figures made by Cortendorf in Bavaria. The cats stand on rounded bases with one playing a squeeze box and the other a horn. They are nicely depicted wearing trousers, shirt and jacket and both are hand painted in rich colored glazes. Both have original makers labels to the bases. Cortendorf was founded by Julius Griesbach in 1890 and is renowned for the quality of its wares.
In good original condition.
