A stylish Cornish carved red serpentine stone ware model of a lighthouse dating from the early to mid 20th Century. The lighthouse is carved from a single piece of stone with the base left unpolished in its natural state to give the effect of the rocks on which a lighthouse would be located. The tall lighthouse is of traditional shape with a simple linear pattern to the body the polished finish highlighting the mottled red characteristics of the stone. The lighthouse is not marked.
