Unusual and scarce D Bros (Davies Brothers or Dingley Brothers) silver combination purse and card case with carrying chain with Birmingham assay marks for 1911. The case has a machined finish with a hinged purse with a firm catch to one side with a blue leather concertina double compartment and with a further sprung hinged flap to the opposite side opening to reveal a card slot. The purse has an engraved cartouche to both sides with a chain and carrying loop attached to the sides. The card flap has a gilded finish to the inside and has makers and date marks for Birmingham 1911.
In good condition with light wear associated with age and use.
