A very fine and stylish Art Deco WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik) patinated bronze twin handled Ikora vase decorated with stylized floral designs by Paul Haustein (1880-1944) and dating from around 1920. This elegantly shaped vase stands on a narrow flat round base and is of round bulbous shape widening towards the top of the vase and with a simple round opening. Raised polished brass handles are applied to either side near the top edge and the vase is decorated floral and leafy stems in gilt metal design and set against a green patinated ground and repeated to both sides of the vase. This very stylish example has an impressed WMF IKORA mark to the base.
In good condition with light wear associated with age and use.
