Rare George I armorial handled silver Kitchen Pepper shaker pot made by Meshach Godwin, London in 1725. The pot of tankard shape has a flat S shape handle attached to the side and push on domed cover with arranged pierced pouring holes. The pot has an engraved armorial with a fleur de lis emblem over a cross. The base has impressed London silver assay marks for 1725 along with a double stamped makers mark MG for Meshach Godwin.

In good condition with some denting and splitting to the top cover.
