An unusual quality Edwardian English silver plate twin handle nut dish the handles mounted with squirrels by Charles S Green, Birmingham and made around 1905. The dish is of oval shaped standing raised on a narrow oval pedestal base with a circle pattern pierced rim and with raised flat top handles applied to either side both mounted with a squirrel eating a nut. This fine quality bowl has impressed EPNS silver plate marks along with makers for Charles S Green and was most likely designed by his wife Winifred who made most of the earlier examples.
