A stunning pair Art Nouveau silver plated open salts with original Powell opalescent glass liners by Michael Hunter & Son of Sheffield and dating from around 1900. The uranium yellow glass salts sit within a silver-plated frame mounted on three legs and with two raised sweeping arms with looped ends joined by a small loop open to one side to hold the salt spoon. Both have makers marks to the frames and are numbered 304 with EPNS marks which are also applied to the spoons.
In excellent original condition and rare to find with the original glass liners.
