A fine quality Art Nouveau enamel decorated rectangular box dating from around 1900. Possibly Austrian, the box is made in brass with a hinged overlapping cover the top applied with a raised motif with a floral garland like design set with red enamels on a fine spiderweb design ground. The base is seamlessly jointed and has a wooden liner with a cushioned red velvet insert to the cover. The box is not marked.
In good presentable condition with a few dents and surface wear customary to age and use.
