Dimensions:
A fine and heavily made antique gilded Georgian or Regency snuff box dating to the early 19th century. The snuff box is of rectangular form with rounded corners and with a piano hinged cover. The snuff box is decorated all over, including to the base, with fine engine turned patterning in typical Georgian style with a rich gilded finish. The snuff box is a quality piece and unusually not marked.
Provenance: Acquired from the UK Art Market.
In good overall condition however with wear associated with age and use.
