A stylish mid-century Japanese studio pottery bowl hand painted with floral designs and signed to the side. The wide rounded bowl stands on a narrow rounded pedestal foot with a shaped rounded pinched rim with the inner body hand painted with three large colorful blooms on stems painted over a brown outline on an oatmeal colored ground with the stems and leaves extending over one side of the bowl. The bowl has a printed MADE IN JAPAN mark to the base and has a brown painted artist signature mark to the outer edge of the bowl.
In good condition with fine age crazing.
