A fine stylish Japanese Meiji cloisonne vase decorated with scrolling leaf and floral patterns dating between 1868 and 1912. The tall elegant bulbous shaped vase stands on a narrow rounded foot and has a large central panel decorated with scrolling leaf and floral designs in brightly colored enamels on a deep blue ground. The panel is set between formal borders with panel decorations applied around the shoulder with further designs applied around the neck and base. The vase is not marked.
A fine display piece in good condition.
