A Japanese collection six carved wood netsukes portraying animals and fish and dating from the latter 20th century. The figures are well carved with good detail and portray the following subjects:
A seated Hare
A Tortoise with young
A mouse on an apple
A monkey catching a fish
A Shishi sat on a bamboo branch
A mouse pulling a cats tail
All the figures are signed.
Provenance: Acquired from the British Art Market.
In good condition with light wear associated with age and use.
