A fine quality and heavily made antique Indian silver card case decorated in repoussé with animals and other scenes probably dating from the early 20th century. The card case is of flat rectangular shape with a piano hinged cover with a shaped overlapping inner edge and with a s shield shaped blank cartouche to the front side. The case is decorated in repoussé with various wild animals, birds and foliage with a hunting scene to one side of the hinged cover. The animals are portrayed in tree lined landscapes and set against a textured ground and framed within polished edges. Possibly Lucknow the card case is made in heavy gauge silver and is not marked.

In good overall condition however with wear associated with age and use.
