A vintage Chinese carved wooden figure of a rearing horse believed to date between 1950 and 1970. The horse originates from a family who were based in China and returned to England in the late 1970s and was acquired while living in China. The horse is mounted on a shaped oval base and stands on its back legs with its body resting on a root work tree trunk shaped support. The figure is well carved but is not signed.
Offered in good condition with a few very minor scuffs which could be easily polished out.
