A very stylish and rare opportunity to acquire this large British salt glazed studio pottery kettle shape teapot by renowned potter Walter Keeler (British, b.1942) and dating from around 1980. The stoneware teapot has a large dome shaped body with a raised grooved and looped carrying handle, an extended bottle shaped spout and a round fitted cover with a whistle shaped raised finial. The teapot has a bit of an ‘industrial’ appearance and is decorated in a greyish blue salt glazed finish. It has the customary circular makers mark applied to one side of the body and incorporated into the design.
