A very stylish vintage Swedish Tilgmans Keramik art pottery handled vessel decorated with seed pods and dating from the 20th century. This stylish red pottery vessel, possibly a jug or a handled vase has an abstract bird shaped body standing on a rounded base with a curved narrowing rounded body and a tall square flat top handle applied to one side. The body of the vessel is hand painted with seed pod designs painted in blue, green and yellow against a textured blue and black incised ground. The vessel is signed Tilgmans to the base and includes number 37 along with another mark which may be an artist mark.
In good condition.
