A unique variant Plat Poisson (see A.R. 166-171) terre de faience platter portraying a fish by Pablo Picasso and dated 6th June 1952. The oval shaped platter is potted in white earthenware clay and decorated in raised engobe colors set within a grey painted surround. The platter has a painted date 6.6.52 to the underside of the edge and was probably produced by Picasso himself. With the Empreint Originale de Picasso and Madoura imprint marks to the base along with old Sotheby's auction paper labels attached. This is a unique piece.
