Terre de faïence dish 1959 numbered 52/100 and incised 'Empreinte Originale de Picasso' & 'Madoura' stamps.

The dish is centrally decorated with a scene comprising of a matador brandishing a capote de Brega, a picador and a bull. The white earthenware dish is decorated in oxidised paraffin (black) with a pale green hue.

There are relief ray-like designs radiating outwards from the centre of the dish and also the piece is dated on the front with '11.6.59' in reverse.

This piece is numbered 52 from a limited edition of 100.
