This white earthenware dish is decorated with Picasso's iconic hibou/owl design. The design is hand-engraved into the earthenware and partially glazed with both coloured engobe and glaze in black, blue and terracotta orange with a matte finish. Inscribed and stamped to the back of the dish are the 'Madoura Pleain Feu/Edition Picasso' marks. This piece is from an unnumbered, limited edition of 450 and can be found referenced in the Alan Ramie catalogue at number 248.
