Terre de faïence dish, 1953, from the edition of an unknown size (Alain Ramié states that only a few copies of this subject were produced).
The dish is centrally decorated with a design comprising of a matador brandishing his capote de brega, a picador and a bull. Around the outside of the dish are a number of other bull designs. The white earthenware dish is partially glazed and is also decorated using oxidised parrafin (black) and a turquoise hue.
The dish has impressed 'Empreinte Originale de Picasso' and 'Madoura' stamps to the base.
