A delightful Austrian mid-century ceramic figurine portraying a nude African woman wearing a grass skirt made in Vienna by Leopold Anzengruber (1912-1979) and dating from around 1950. The woman kneels, possibly in a dance pose, on a shaped base glazed in white with a matt black edge. The figurine is decorated in matt black with stylized features and she wears a grass skirt attached around her waist. The figure has impressed marks to the base along with several makers original paper labels.
In good condition.
