A stunning Danish Royal Copenhagen porcelain sculptural figure of a seated Bear by renowned animal artist Khud Kyhn (Danish, 1880-1969) conceived around 1935. The hollow made sculpture sits on flat unglazed foot with a slightly recessed base, The bear is modelled in a seated position and licks his right paw with open mouth and cut outs for eyes. The figure is decorated in brown tenmoku patch work glazes against a blue green colored ground. The figure is numbered 21675 with Royal Copenhagen marks to the base and with an incised KK monogram.
In good condition.
