A stylish Continental attributed, possibly German, mid-century art pottery vase decorated in bright orange mottled and textured glazes. The vase made from a terracotta colored clay stands raised on a narrow rounded and unglazed foot, with a rounded bulboud body and narrow cup shaped top with a pinched shoulder. The vase is decorated with lava like glazes in black on a pale yellow ground with thick reddy-orange glazes dripped down the body of the vase. The vase has an uneven surface with some texturing in the glaze. The base also is decorated with mottled glazes and while these does appear to be mark running around the edge it is completely obscured by the glaze.
