Stunning antique Bohemian pedestal glass vase with 'schwarzlot' designs and panels set amidst fine engraving and etching by Steinschönau and dating from the early 20th century. The vase stands raised on a wide rounded domed foot with a long three section oval shaped clear glass body and sweeping rim and is decorated with black patterned banding around the foot with panels to the stem and with four black cartouches to the body two engraved with water birds, one with a running deer and one with a building in a landscape. The oval shaped panels are set amidst finely etched scroll designs with a black linear patterned edging to the top rim. The vase is not marked.
In good condition with a couple of tiny nicks to the footrim.
