A stylish vintage midcentury Italian Murano art glass bowl modeled as a large clam like seashell. This large and stylish glass bowl stands on a narrow rounded foot with a swirl design with bubble inclusions and set between brown ribbon like swirling running through the body of the bowl. The bowl has a folded over edge with protruding points to the opposite edge. The bowl has a polished recessed pontil and is not marked.
Offered in excellent condition with wear to the foot rim commensurate with age and use.
