A very finely made Murano Venetian hand-blown glass ribbon pattern jug dating from the latter 20th century. The jug with a rounded onion shaped body has recessed rough pontil mark with a tall trumpet shaped neck and wide pinched top with pouring spout and with a scroll clear glass handle applied to the side. The body of the jug has a fine black and gold aventurine trailed ribbon design gathered at the base and running through the body to the top of the neck. The jug retains an original red Murano foil label to the body.
