A delightful Scottish Wemyss Ware pottery pig decorated in green glazes made by Robert Heron & Son and dating from around 1900. The well potted earthenware figure stands raised on four short small legs with pig shaped body, raised ears, snout and simple inset eyes and a curly tail. The pig is decorated in lime green glazes and is impressed WEMYSS WARE R.H.& S. for Robert Heron & Son of Fife.
In good overall condition with a well reattached small piece to one of the front paws and with minor glaze fritting around the ears and the usual overall glaze age crazing.
