A scarce and unusual Moorcroft Wisteria pattern pepperette with a Tudric planished pewter base dating from around 1920. The pepperette body is of simple thimble shape with tube lined fruit like designs hand painted in tones of red, blue, yellow and green on a dark blue ground. The shaker has 12 randomly pierced holes to the top and is mounted in a skirted planished pewter base with a screw in stopper. The base, made by Tudric, is marked MADE IN ENGLAND and numbered 01527.
In good condition with light wear from use.
