Dimensions:
A charming Art Deco Hungarian hand painted pottery figure of a musician by Komlos and dating from circa 1930. Reminiscent and probably inspired by the Wiener Werkstatte and Goldscheider in nearby Austria, the figure portrays a young seated boy wearing a hat playing a squeeze box or concertina. He appears to be singing and wears a waistcoat and brightly colored clothing. He is hand painted in bright colors which exaggerate his features with a mop of blond hair and is fully marked to the base with residue of an original paper label.
The figure is offered in excellent original condition.
