A stunning Doulton Lambeth art nouveau stylized fan shaped floral design vase by renowned artist Eliza Simmance and dated 1905. The stoneware vase is of double gourd shape standing on a flat unglazed narrow round foot with recessed base. The lower body is decorated with tubelined stylized wide floral blooms arranged at two heights around the body and on simple stems. The narrower upper body with a simple decorative band around the folded back opening. The designs are painted in tones of pink and blue with white tubelining and are set against a mottled green ground. With the patterning around the top painted in brown again set within a raised white tubelined edge. The vase has impressed makers marks to the base along with incised ES mark for Eliza Simmance along with assistant marks for Emma Burrows and Georgie Smith. The vase has a date code f for 1905 and is numbered 235.

In good original condition with light wear associated with age and use.
