A very stylish aesthetic movement terracotta vase with slip applied floral designs in the manner of Watcombe and design attributed to Christopher Dresser dating from around 1880. This very finely made vase stands raised on a narrow rounded foot with a wide squat rounded body and narrow neck with a cup shaped top. The vase combines light and darker terracotta clays and is unglazed and has a stylized colored slip floral and scroll design. The vase has various incised and impressed marks to the base but too indistinct to identify.

In good original condition.
