A very large and heavily made Art Nouveau twin handled vase decorated in green glazes believed to be of Belgian origin and dating from around 1900. The large earthenware vase is of rounded bulbous shape with a funnel shaped neck and two loop handles applied to either side of the neck. The vase is decorated in green streaked glazes with small spots of brown speckling within the glaze. The glaze runs down over the foot. The vase is not marked and is heavily potted and is typical in style and finish of provincial Belgian pottery of the time.
In good condition with a couple of surface hairlines to the base, probably from the firing.
