A very fine early Art Deco porcelain vase hand painted with floral designs by renowned British pottery Wedgwood and dating from around 1915. The vase is beautifully made and stands on a wide round domed foot with a slender base and egg shaped round body with a wide everted rim. The body of the vase is hand decorated with narcissus bell shaped flowers on stems hand painted in tones of blue, white and green and set within a gilded outline. These are painted against a powder blue ground with the inner vase and the base left unglazed. A very fine gilded patterning is applied around the inside rim with a gilded feathered pattern band around the neck. The vase has printed brown makers marks to the base and is numbered Z5175.

Provenance: acquired in the British art market.

A very fine example in good condition.
