A very rare antique porcelain imari pattern bell by Royal Crown Derby and dating from 1904. The bell has a traditional bell shaped body with molded and finely decorated patterning in tones of red, blue and green highlighted with gilding. The bell has a domed top molded in relief with a fruiting vine and with a raised narrow hexagonal shaped handle with a cone shaped finial. The handle is applied with molded patterning highlighted with gilding on a deep blue ground. The bell has a printed green makers underneath the body and date marks for 1904. It has its original bell striker hanging from a chain and has a lovely tone when rung.
In very good presentable condition with a professional restoration to a break to the lower handle which is certainly not apparent.
