A fine and stylish Art Deco art pottery jug hand painted with seed pod designs by Myott and dated 1930. This shape of jug is an iconic production piece by Myott and each was individually hand painted by various artists who worked in the pottery at this time. Typical of the period the jug has a cream glazed body over painted in colors with bright vibrant patterns and with large seed pods around the lower body. The jug has various printed marks to the base along with an impressed '30' for 1930.
Offered in excellent condition with wear commensurate with age and use.
