A very fine Georgian antique English pearlware pottery vase decorated with a Chinese landscape dating from around 1790. The vase stands raised on a rectangular pedestal base with a narrow stem and flat oval shaped body with an everted ornate rim. The lightly potted vase is decorated with blue and white patterning with a Chinese landscape repeated to both sides above relief molded leafy stems and with a formal border around the neck and feathered feather designs painted to the rim and around the foot. The vase is not marked.
